IDBF World Championships of Dragon Boating (WDBRC)

The International Dragon Boat Federation holds World Dragon Boat Racing Championships every other year in odd years. Teams representing their country, in each class, are composed of the best paddlers in each class from each country. Click for historical information.

In Canada, National Teams must be approved by Dragonboat Canada. Canada has a protocol in place to determine which crews receive sanctions as national teams. If necessary, national team trials are held to select those to represent individual classes.
