TEAM PHILOSOPHY

To further advance the opportunity for Canadian men and women age 60 and older to challenge their expertise and skill on the world stage.  Critical to advancing this opportunity, and challenging athletes, is the need to treat all athletes with due respect and integrity. The core of this respect and integrity is demonstrated by creating open, transparent and clear strategies for communicating expectations, stating the team selection process, sharing financial details, and outlining the crew-training program.

GOALS

1. To create a Canadian National Senior C team of committed and skilled paddlers (22 men, 22 female) from across the country who are 60 years of age or older.

2. To win gold in all events at the World Championships in Hungary in 2013.
